GLOW OVER EEE-ULTRA SHINE?

Email from James 27 Sept 22 Sorry if this has been answered 100 times before. The EEE cream does an amazing job but still needs a final finish. The Glow sais to use on raw timber only. Can I use EEE followed by Glow? is there a special procedure for this? My results are varied. Cheers James My response: 27 Sept 22 Hello James I presume you are talking about woodturned items. EEE was designed to be used as the final abrasive before using any of our friction...

BEST FINISH FOR EPOXY PENS

EMAIL FROM BOB 7th Feb 23 I need to know what the best thing is to polish and finish acrylic such as pens please. Thanks Bob My response: 7th Feb 23 Hello Robert I have had nothing to do with acrylic but have had great reports about EEE-Ultra Shine and Aussie Oil being used over epoxy on pens, bowls, platters, etc. Our finishes are initially designed as friction polish for use on wood and not over epoxy or other plastic finishes.   Email from Bill 12 Feb 23 I have made a sign that is part wood (pine) and part epoxy resin. I brought a jar of EEE-ultra shine which worked well in shining up both the wood and resin. However when it got wet, it lost all its shine and was rough to touch. I applied the wax as per the instructions on the jar Can you recommend a product to use, either instead of EEE-ultra shine or with EEE-ultra shine. Bill My response 12 Feb 23 Hello...

SHELLAWAX CREAM, GONE HARD

Email from Madhav 15 Feb 23 Hi, I bought a container each of your EEE ultra shine and your Shellawax cream. Both were stored closed in a dark cool place. The Ultra shine is ok, but the Shellawax cream has hardened tot he point that it is inaudible. What did I do wrong? Does the cream have a shelf life? How can I reconstitute it?   My first response (Madhavs replies are in red) 15 Feb 23 Hello Madhav A question or few first. Where in...

WAX OVER AUSSIE OIL

Email from Jim Can you or should you have to put a wax over Aussie Oil on items that will be handled often.    Thanks Jim _______________ My response Hello Jim Definitely not. Waxes are easily damaged with water, alcohol, heat, handling, etc. For anything that will be used constantly apply 3 coats of Aussie Oil or more if you wish. First application is basically burned into the wood and fine for decorative work that will just be looked at not under constant handling. However as that first...

HELP WITH EEE

Email from Megan 10 Feb 23 Hello! My sons have recently started wood turning and have discovered your EEE Ultra Shine product.  I'm not a wood worker, so it's hard for me to guide their wood finishing choices beyond telling them, "Wow, that looks nice!" So, last night my oldest soon turned a wood handle (Ash) for an ice cream scoop and applied the EEE Ultra Shine. It looks beautiful, but I don't understand if the ultra shine has made the handle "safe"...
